The mystical White Sword of Law, also known as The Ivory Blade and Divergent, is the lawful counterpart to the Black Sword. The White Sword has a prominent role in a number of Elric stories. Divergent may or may not be the same weapon as Lord Arkyn of Law's white sword Mireen, which appears in the Elric story The White Wolf's Son: The Albino Underground.

The Citadel of Forgotten Myths describes the sword as "A long, vibrating, curving sword cut from a single huge mammoth tusk and chased with red-gold, platinum and copper, sending streamers of light into the darkening noonday."
