The Sword Rulers are a group of three Chaos Lords who created the Mabden race to take over Corum's home world of the Fifteen Planes.
The Sword Rulers consist of:
- Arioch, The Knight of the Swords
- Xiombarg, The Queen of the Swords
- Mabelode, The King of the Swords
They were destroyed by Corum and banished from the Fifteen Planes.
Elric knows Chaos Lords by the same names in his own plane of existence, but there is some degree of separation between them and their namesakes in Corum's reality. Their relative power levels, at the very least, do not necessarily translate between dimensions.
That is probably fitting - Chaos Lords can hardly be expected to manifest uniformly among various planes of existence, after all.
