Count Smiorgan Baldhead is a sea-lord of the Purple towns is a human friend and ally of Elric of Melnibone. He was rescued by Elric from the barbarian wizards of Pan Tang who held him captive. Smiorgan is an incarnation of the eternal companion. He perished during the sacking of Imrryr, where he was abandoned by Elric.
