The Ship Which Sails Over Land and Sea is a magical ship that was built by Straasha and Grome working together, the ownership of which has been a point of contention between them ever since. Not only can it be sailed across the sea, but it can also be sailed across land as smoothly as if it were water, with no harm to the land or the ship. Straasha loaned the ship to Elric for use on his quest to rescue the kidnapped Cymoril.[1]

The ship is tall and slender and made of exquisitely carved wood. It is not painted but is naturally radiant with all the colours of nature in perfect harmony and beauty. The sails on its three masts are white and billowy like clouds on a fine summer day.[1]
