Niun

Niun (or Niun Who Knew All) is a sorcerer who lives in the city of Ameeron in the dark netherworld beyond the Shade Gate. Before arriving there, he had a desire to know everything there was to know, all the secrets of the Multiverse, until his explorations brought him into contact with Orland of the Staff. Orland showed the presumptuous Niun the error of his ways and exiled him to the netherworld. Niun made a pact with Orland stating that he could return from his exile if he allowed himself to gradually forget, through the passing of time, everything he had ever learned. It remains to be seen whether Niun will remember that he will be allowed to leave.
