The Grey Lords, also known as the Lords of Neutrality, are deities who serve neither Law nor Chaos, and instead uphold Neutrality and the Cosmic Balance itself above all other things. They take the forms of elderly, plain men. In Elric: Making of a Sorcerer, they are distinctly drawn to resemble Michael Moorcock. It is said they do not rule, but merely counsel others, like King Elrik and Rackhir the Red Archer.
