The Four Who are One is an aspect of the Eternal champion that is comprised of four champions who joined their bodies together.
Biography[]
The Four's first and only appearance was in Quest for Tanelorn/Sailor on the Seas of Fate, where Elric of Melnibone, Corum Jhaelen Irsei, Dorian Hawkmoon and Erekose were sent on a Dark Ship by the Blind Captain to battle the cosmic sorcerer siblings Agak and Gagak.
As the Champions ascend into Gagak's body (disguised as a building), they reach a chamber with an octagonal pool, and they realize the severity of their situation, merging into the Four, a creature with 4 heads, 8 arms bearing a large golden sword and 8 legs. The Four assume Gagak's appearance as they kill and absorbe her remains to deceive Agak for a while, and they enter a battle, in which Agak absorbs half of the Multiverse to gain power. The Four do so as well, and they kill Agak, before sending the life back to the Multiverse and unfusing. The experience left all the champions and the warriors who accompanied them extremely shell shocked.
The Four were to be formed again in Elric: The balance lost with Eric Beck instead of Erekose, but Grayson's interference caused Elric, Corum and Hawkmoon to form the Three Who are one instead.
Trivia[]
- The Four are the lyrical subject of the power metal band Skelator's song Agents of Power from the album of the same name.
