Dragon Master is a title given to Melnibonéans who are in charge of training and taking care of the dragons that serve Melniboné in times of war, as well as leading the dragons into battle. During the time of Elric, the position of Dragon Master was held by his close friend Dyvim Tvar, and later by Tvar's son Dyvim Slorm. Elric himself is also trained in the arts of the Dragon Master. Another title used in conjunction with Dragon Master is Lord of the Dragon Caves.[1][2][3][4]
