Baron Meliadus of Kroiden is the Grand Constable of the Order of the Wolf and first chieftain of the armies under the Great King-Emperor Huon. He is a celebrated general of Granbretan's Dark Empire.
He travels in his dark carriage.
He is the arch-enemy of Dorian Hawkmoon, who has repeatedly escaped the Dark Empire's forces and is responsible for disfiguring the Baron's own face in combat. After slaying King Huon in a coup, he was ultimately killed by Hawkmoon during the final battle between the Beast Men of Granbretan and the Company of the Runestaff.
